Level the Site

Women currently make up 14% of Australia’s construction workforce, with most joining as mature-aged apprentices. The Level the Site program aims to change this by driving essential structural and cultural shifts within the building and construction industry. Our goal is to significantly increase the skilled participation of women and improve their retention in the sector. With the support of our partners and the Australian Government, Level the Site will engage the industry through mentorship programs, networking events, employer training and best-practice resources. We’re strongly focused on delivering measurable change, with a long-term vision to reshape the industry’s male-dominated culture and empower more women to not only start construction careers, but thrive in them.

“This program has been a wonderful experience. We were matched perfectly and quickly established a very open, interesting and productive relationship. Now that the program is ending, we will stay in touch to continue the relationship in a different capacity. I am so pleased that my mentee has commenced the Contracts Management course at the MBA which I completed many years ago! Thank you for running the program and I hope it runs again in future Years”
