Level the Site

Women remain significantly underrepresented across Australia’s building and construction industry. Level the Site is a national initiative focused on increasing the participation, retention and progression of women, while supporting employers to create workplaces where women can build long-term careers.

Through mentoring, industry connections, practical resources and employer support, Level the Site is helping strengthen workplace culture and create a more inclusive, sustainable construction workforce.

“This program has been a wonderful experience. We were matched perfectly and quickly established a very open, interesting and productive relationship. Now that the program is ending, we will stay in touch to continue the relationship in a different capacity. I am so pleased that my mentee has commenced the Contracts Management course at the MBA which I completed many years ago! Thank you for running the program and I hope it runs again in future years”

Mentor

“After 32 years in the industry, mentoring made me realise how different my own pathway had been. I grew up in a builder and developer family, so much of what I had learned felt like second nature. Through mentoring, I saw that not everyone has access to the same guidance or industry knowledge. That reinforced for me just how valuable this program is for the industry”

Mentor

“As a mentor, you have the opportunity to empower someone and help them see in themselves what you can already see in them.”
